The Atlanta Rhinos today announced that Legends Distillery, an Award-winning distillery in Cumming, GA known for its Vodkas and Bourbons, would become the PREMIER Sponsor for the organization.
The Atlanta Rhinos today announced that Legends Distillery, an Award-winning distillery in Cumming, GA known for its Vodkas and Bourbons, would become the PREMIER Sponsor for the organization. The agreement is both a carry-over from 2021 sponsorship and an extension into the 2023 NARL season.
“We believe in American Rugby League and its future. We are proud to partner with the Atlanta Rhinos, as rugby league is a sport that is all about the player and fans connecting both on and off the field,” said Legends Founder Michael Gerard.
“The Rhino’s signify everything that is right in America today, it’s not about the money; it’s about the team, it’s about team camaraderie, it’s about respect and it’s about having fun and if possible, about winning but that does not override the important things in life.”
Legends Distillery has become one of Georgia’s fastest-growing distilleries in our state’s history with over 42 awards earned including prestigious accolades such as Best in Class Platinum, Double Platinum, Double Golds, Vodka of the Year and most recently earning the Consumers’ Choice Award at the 2022 SIP Awards.
“We can’t be happier to have Legends Distillery sign a multi-year partnership with the Rhinos,” said Rhino’s owner, and former USA Hawk Captain Nick Newlin. “They aren’t just making great products in their facility, but they are constantly engaging with the community and are actively involved in promoting rugby league here in Atlanta.”
Gerard sees this partnership as an opportunity to help not only grow his business but rugby league in the United States. “Rugby League could be one the fastest growing sport in America today and Legends Distillery wants to be part of that growth, owned by main street - powered by main street – played by main street.”
As the Title Sponsor for the Atlanta Rhinos, Legends Distillery will be featured on the front of both the home and away kits as well as the sponsor for the weekly “Legend of the Match” award given out to the best individual performance on both teams.
