Silverbacks HOME for 2021

After the 2020 season came to a crashing halt before it could even get off the ground, there were questions if the Rhinos would continue playing at their renowned venue at the Intersection of I-285 and I-85. The location, also known as "Spaghetti Junction" by the local folks in Atlanta is located just outside of downtown and has been the Rhinos home since inception in 2014. It has been confirmed by team owner Nick Newlin and new Silverbacks Managing Director, Bill Lynch that the show will go on at this location for the 2021 season that is right around the corner!

Atlanta Silverbacks Park is a soccer complex in unincorporated DeKalb County, just outside Atlanta, United States. It was formerly the home venue of the Atlanta Silverbacks club. The park includes a 5,000-seat soccer-specific stadium, which opened in 2006 and is designed for future expansion, but works great as a Rugby League field as well. Bill Lynch and his team have sunk over $2.1 Million into the facility in the last 18 months, to include new field turf in the stadium, updated locker rooms and a shiny new café on premise called Willie B's, where the Rhinos will host their post game functions. The café is a great place to catch the game in the hot summer months in Atlanta when you need to escape the heat in the open seating stands and will also serve Ice Cold Yuengling beer, proud sponsor of the Rhinos, as well as small entrees and snacks.

An addition that we can't wait for this year is Georgia's own Award Winning Legends Distillery and it's line up of Bourbon and Vodka that is distilled right here in local Cumming, GA. The café is excited about bringing in the new local brand for those interested in something a bit more hard hitting than a beer to enjoy while taking in the Rugby League action. Keep an eye out for the 2021 schedule coming very soon as well as a season ticket option!
